Off-Grid Renewable Energy Power System – Woodstock Cattle Station
57.5kWp Solar Capacity – 67kWh Battery Bank
Tropical Energy Solutions designed and installed a 57.5kWp PV solar system with 67kWh of energy storage at a large cattle farm located approximately 200km north of Richmond in a very remote area of Northwest Queensland. The site includes a homestead, workshops, cool-room and accommodation blocks servicing up to 20 staff and guests. The sites full electrical loads were traditionally supplied via a diesel generator with subsequent large operating costs.
The ‘Off-Grid’ components of this system were preinstalled into a suitably sized shipping container at our office location in West End Townsville, before being transported to site. This helped reduce the overall cost of the system by increasing installation efficiencies.
