Urandagie State School
Urandangie State School is located in far western Queensland 40km for the Northern Territory Boarder and services the small community of the same name. The town and the school has no access to grid power and operates from generators. Tropical Energy Solutions was engaged to provide a secure, consistent power supply to service the school’s IT needs and essential services.
Although the PV system is modest in size, peripheral works added complexity. Tropical Energy Solutions designed and installed a super energy efficient data cabinet refrigeration unit which involved constructing a refrigeration panel enclosure to encase the data cabinet and ensure the dedicated ducted air conditioning unit would operate at peak efficiency, enabling multiple days of system autonomy.
